Every blockchain ecosystem is only as good as its community. Here at AllianceBlock, we are lucky to have a fantastic group of supporters who are with us on our mission every day in a true #NoMercy style. It’s important for our community to know how much we appreciate them, so this will be the first of many opportunities to reward you for your continuous support.

We are stronger than ever and to celebrate our hard work, we’re hosting an exclusive corporate event in the heart of Zug, Switzerland, where our new HQ is based. For this special occasion, we’d like to announce a very special competition for our loyal #NoMercy community.

In the early days, we’ve always pushed forward with the support and energy that our growing community has shared with us. You’ve shared your insights, ideas, and dreams, which have helped us in pursuing our mission of building the financial infrastructure of the future. This constant back and forth fueled our growth; and from the wisdom of crowds, an ethos was born — #NoMercy.

Everywhere we looked, we read it, we heard it, and we spoke it. Eventually, we became obsessed. Now, everything we do is in the true #NoMercy spirit. We know exactly what this slogan means to us — that to change the world, you need to give your absolute best.

You have shared with us the #NoMercy spirit. But what does it mean to you?

We want to invite up to 10 of our #NoMercy community members to join us at our corporate event — return flights and one-night accommodation all paid for. All you’ve got to do is answer… what does ‘#NoMercy’ mean to you?

Campaign Entry Info

There will be a raffle to select winners to go to Zug, Switzerland, for the AllianceBlock Corporate Event on 17th September 2021. Note: in order to be considered for this competition, please make sure you comply with the Terms and Conditions included below.

To join, participants will have to:

1. Answer the question “What does #NoMercy mean to you?” through a creative Tweet incorporating images, text, video, animations, memes, etc. Let’s get creative!
2. Tag our Twitter handle @AllianceBlock and hashtags #WenZug and #NoMercy
3. Join our Telegram group (https://t.me/allianceblock) and share your Tweet there. NOTE: If linking does not work on our Telegram, screen shotting your Tweet is just fine. If our automatic security still prevents you from doing so, not to worry – we'll still consider your Tweet.

The raffle campaign will launch on 10th September, at approximately 2:00 PM CEST. Entry submissions will be accepted until 6:00 PM (cut-off) on 12th September, with the raffle shortly after. Winners will be randomly selected.

We will announce that we have contacted all winners at 6:00 PM CEST on 12th September. We will DM you if you have won from our official Twitter account @allianceblock (https://www.twitter.com/allianceblock).

Now, for the serious stuff… below you will find the competition’s Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

• Winners must be located within the European Union or the Schengen Area;
• Winners must be able to comply with the entry requirements for Switzerland (passport, visa, etc.); and
• Winners must verify their compliance with the requirements within 24 hours of receiving the notification of their win. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of their slot.

How will winners get verified?

• Winners will not be publicly announced but will be contacted through Twitter through the official AllianceBlock account @allianceblock.
• A form will be sent to them detailing the requirements that they need to comply with, as well as verification if they would be able to comply.
• We will only contact you to fill out a form to confirm your eligibility. We will never ask you for your private keys or any sensitive information.

What do winners get?

• Flight tickets for one for the winner to and from Switzerland;
• Hand luggage only, additional luggage costs will need to be covered by the individuals;
• Hotel accommodation for one night;
• Transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to and from the event location;
• Access to the event;
• Note that for anything not included in this list, the winner shall be responsible for additional costs and other considerations.

What are the entry requirements for Switzerland?

• Raffle winners must comply with the necessary entry requirements within the time frame, including visa requirements, etc.

What are the requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Raffle winners must present a Certificate of Vaccination with a vaccine on the Swiss government’s approved list:

• Pfizer/BioNTech (BNT162b2 / Comirnaty® / Tozinameran)
• Moderna (mRNA-1273 / Spikevax / COVID-19 vaccine Moderna)
• AstraZeneca (AZD1222 Vaxzevria®/ Covishield™)
• Janssen / Johnson & Johnson (Ad26.COV2.S)
• Sinopharm / BIBP (SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine (Vero Cell)
• Sinovac (CoronaVac)

What do we expect from the winners?

• When you’re at the event, it’s highly appreciated to be posting about AllianceBlock and the event.
• Act in proper decorum that would not harm you and anyone in your vicinity.
• AllianceBlock reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entry at any time at its sole discretion. By entering into this contest, the contestant represents and warrants that it is eligible to participate and conform to the requirements set forth in our rules.
• The contestant represents and warrants that its entry does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others and any claims that may arise as a result of infringements shall be defended and settled by the contestant at its own expense. The contestant hereby indemnifies and holds AB harmless from any claim that may arise as a result of the infringement of third-party intellectual property rights as a result of the contestant’s entry.
• AB reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the contest at any time for whatever reason.
• The contestant shall indemnify and hold AB and any of its affiliated companies, representatives, partners, directors, employees harmless against and from any and all claims, liabilities, losses or damages that may occur, directly or indirectly from participation in the contest and/or (i) the winner accepting, possessing, using or misusing of any awarded price or (ii) any type of technical failure.

• This contest is governed by and constructed in accordance with [Dutch/Swiss] law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this contest shall be settled before the competent court in Switzerland.
